# Running

> Run the server and read its logs.

## Run

```bash
geolith-search --glx ./india.glx
```

Or set the path in the environment:

```bash
GLX_FILE=./india.glx geolith-search
```

The server listens on `127.0.0.1:4000` by default. See [Configuration](/search/getting-started/configuration) for every setting.

## Health

`/health` returns `200` while the server runs. `places` is the number of places in the file.

## Logs

`RUST_LOG` sets the filter. The default is `geolith_search=info,tower_http=info`. See [Privacy](/search/concepts/privacy) for what is logged.
